Doors will be open to students, parents and guardians, and community members at 6&#58;00 pm. The Expo is an opportunity for Black students to meet Black professionals and mentors in a career-fair atmosphere. Students and families are invited to attend this event, which aims to build community and provide students with an opportunity to talk to professionals from a variety of fields. Students registered in this Grade 1 program will spend 90% of their year learning in the French language. All subjects and activities in the French Immersion classroom, except for Religion and Family Life, will be delivered in French. In Grades 2 and 3, 70% of the instruction will be in French, with the proportion of English increasing to 50% in later years. This means that after at least 3,800 hours of French instruction by the end of Grade 8, students will be able to participate adequately in French conversations and develop intercultural awareness of French-speaking communities.<br><br>Virtual information sessions for parents/guardians will be held on two different evenings based on region of interest. Luke scored a perfect average of 100%. He is set to attend the University of Waterloo in the fall, where he has enrolled in the Computer Science program.<br><br>鶹ý's top Ontario Scholar from a Brampton school is Megan Asquith from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School, who graduated with an average of 99.3%. Despite limited budgetary resources, 鶹ý is committed to ensuring our stakeholders have access to information regarding the budget development process and opportunities to provide input.<br><br><strong>Public Budget Information and&#160;Consultation</strong><br><br>During the 2024-2025 budget development process, 鶹ý offered a Public Budget Information Session webcast&#160;on April 24, 2024. This session provided&#160;an opportunity for our community stakeholders to receive financial information and updates on the 鶹ý deficit position.
